Delete your account

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This page explains how to delete your account for Devvle, including the Devvle Android app, developed by Devvle Ltd, and what happens to your data when you do.

Studio staff (artists, front-of-house and admins)

If you use the Devvle dashboard or Android app as a member of a studio’s staff:

  1. Email support@devvle.dev from the email address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my Devvle account”. The link above fills this in for you.
  3. We will check the request came from the account holder (we may reply to confirm), then delete your account and tell you when it’s done. We process requests within 30 days.

If you are the last admin of a studio, deleting your account would leave the studio with nobody to manage it. Before we delete it, please make another staff member an admin and transfer ownership to them. If there is nobody to transfer to, we’ll contact you about closing the studio’s account as well, which includes cancelling its subscription.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Signing out of the app removes that device’s push notification token.

Customers of a tattoo studio

If you booked with a studio and created a customer account, you can either:

  • Delete it yourself from your profile page at app.devvle.ink/account/profile, or
  • Email us at support@devvle.dev from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Devvle account”, and we’ll process it within 30 days as above.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in account (email/password or Google sign-in link).
  • Your profile: name, photo, bio and contact details.
  • Push notification tokens for all your devices.
  • Other personal details linked to your account, such as your preferences.

What we may keep, and for how long

Booking records held for a studio

Studios need records of the appointments they have carried out for their own legal and business purposes (for example, licensing, health and safety, and accounts). Booking records that a studio needs are held on the studio’s behalf and stay in that studio’s account; where possible we anonymise them by removing the link to your deleted account. They are kept for as long as the studio keeps them, and deleted when the studio deletes them or closes its account. To ask a studio to delete its records about you, contact the studio directly; we’ll help them respond.

Payment and billing records

Records of payments, deposits, invoices and payouts are kept for up to 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, to meet UK tax and accounting law. Card and payment details are held by our payment provider, Stripe, which keeps them as required by law and its own privacy policy.

Backups and logs

Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups and security logs for up to 35 days before it is overwritten. We don’t restore it from backups except to recover from an incident, in which case we delete it again.

Our correspondence with you

We keep a record of your deletion request, and any related emails, to show we carried it out.
